Yasmine is an arts writer and curator. Drawing inspiration from multiple creative fields, her work is informed by the worlds of design, fashion, film, music and, of course, art and art history.  


She authors two blogs Beyond the White Cube on the Huffington Post and artistvisit.com


She began her career over ten years ago in the press office of the musee d'Orsay in Paris.  From Paris, Yasmine moved to New York to complete a Masters of Arts at Bard College.  This was followed by stints at Christie's and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Simultaneously, Yasmine began writing for magazines, frequently contributing articles to Newsweek and BlackBook.  In 2006, she settled in Los Angeles and began curating contemporary art exhibitions for galleries. Alongside curatorial projects, she continues to write for local, national and international publications.


Her articles have been featured in The Art Newspaper, BlackBook, Newsweek and Whitewall, among other publications.  She is the US Correspondent for the Dubai-based arts magazine Canvas.


As Curatorial Director of the Los Angeles charity The Art of Elysium, Yasmine managed a series of collaborations with high-profile figures from the arts and entertainment worlds.  These included charity auctions, exhibitions and special events, widely covered in the press.
